1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CarRental Marketplace ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to CarRental Marketplace website and mobile application.
  • "User" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Platform.
  • "Customer" refers to a User who rents or purchases vehicles.
  • "Seller" refers to a User who lists vehicles for rent or sale.
  • "Admin" refers to the platform administrator.
  • "Vehicle" refers to any car or truck listed on the Platform.

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Vehicle Listings

Sellers agree to:

  • Provide accurate descriptions and photos of vehicles
  • Set fair and transparent pricing
  • Maintain vehicles in good condition
  • Honor confirmed bookings and sales
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly

5. Payments and Fees

All payments are processed securely through our payment gateway. The platform charges a 30% fee on all transactions, which covers:

  • Platform maintenance and support
  • Payment processing fees
  • Customer support services
  • Marketing and promotion

Sellers receive 70% of the transaction amount within 7-14 business days after payment confirmation.

6. Financing Terms

For vehicle financing through our platform:

  • 20% down payment is required
  • Minimum credit score of 500 required
  • Monthly income must be at least 2x the payment amount
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • Loan terms range from 12 to 60 months

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Rental Cancellations:

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
  • 50% refund for cancellation within 24 hours
  • No refund for no-show

Purchase Cancellations:

  • Down payment is non-refundable after 48 hours
  • Loan payments are non-refundable once processed

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false or misleading information
  • Attempt to bypass our payment system
  • Harass other users or staff
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Manipulate reviews or ratings

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from platform transactions shall be resolved through our dispute resolution process:

  1. Contact customer support for mediation
  2. Formal dispute filed within 14 days
  3. Admin review and decision within 30 days
  4. Binding arbitration if unresolved

10. Limitation of Liability

The platform acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for:

  • Vehicle condition or performance
  • Seller or customer conduct
  • Third-party service interruptions
  • Indirect or consequential damages

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
